Rubberduck Journey

Rubberduck Journey is an endless runner in 3D where you accompany a friendly rubber duck on his exciting adventure down the river. The objective of the game is to try to get as far as possible by dodging tons of obstacles, from barrels floating on the water to seagulls trying to peck at you, or even beavers that throw wood at you.

The controls in Rubberduck Journey are typical for this genre, so they'll be familiar to just about everyone. Slide your finger from left to right to make your duck move from side to side in order to dodge obstacles and collect coins, or slide up to jump. Likewise, if you slide up again while jumping, you'll perform a double jump; and if you slide down, you'll fall onto the water with more force.

Rubberduck Journey has two main game modes. The first of these is the usual infinite mode, where you try to float on the river for as long as possible, avoiding obstacles without stopping and collecting all the coins you see along the way. In the second game mode, on the other hand, you face the different bosses of the game in much shorter (and usually much more difficult) levels.

As you improve your high score and defeat enemies, you can level up. Each time you level up, you'll earn lots of coins that you can invest in unlocking new rubber ducks to play with. In total, you'll be able to get more than a dozen different ducks, each of which has its own unique abilities. In addition to the traditional yellow rubber duck, you can play with a rainbow duck, a rocker duck, or a Viking duck.

Rubberduck Journey is a very fun game with relatively short rounds that last between one and five minutes, which is perfect for smartphones. The game also has great graphics, with a vibrant and colorful style that looks particularly good as you're racing down the river at full speed.
